Pioneering podiatrists John and Ann Powell have been practising for more than 35 years and offer their extensive experience to patients at hb opticians in Darras Hall.
The husband and wife team have been offering treatments in Jesmond as Powell and Gilchrist since 1976.
Now also practising as Afoot within hb opticians, John and Ann treat patients of all ages with a wide variety of conditions including verucca and nail surgery.
John is the only HPC registered podiatrist north of Manchester to offer silicone injection therapy and was the first recognised by the Society of Chiropodists to use local anaesthetics for podiatry treatment back in the 1970s.
