Refraction

This involves putting a series of lenses in front of your eyes to see which lens is the clearest. This tells the Optometrist whether you are long or short sighted. We can also measure objectively the cure of your eyes and check your suitability for contact lenses. The Optometrist then checks that your eyes work together properly and that your eyes can detect different shades of colour which is very important in certain occupations such as electricians.
